Austria, Vienna. I know Sound of Music wasn't filmed *right* here, but that's what I associate with Austria, and to the inner critic who wants to be annoyed that I've bucketed an entire nation with an American movie, I extend loving patience because we *are* a tiny bit jet-lagged, and extra patience with oneself is good. 🙂

Austria, Vienna. We saw The Kiss, the Klimt painting, as Abe reached 8,000 steps after our 8 hour flight. We wandered the surrounding gardens, then checked into our upgraded room - upgraded because Abe befriended one of the folks working at our building, and she's still connected to her past life at the Ritz-Carlton. (Love ya, Starr!)

Austria, Vienna. Gonna see Yo-Yo Ma tomorrow. Abe's Christmas gift to me. I've got a lot to thank that guy for. :) I'm grateful (thank you for everything, boo), I'm sleepy (thank you for a soft bed, hotel boo), I'm anticipatory (thank you for sharing your gift, Yo-Yo boo), I'm here (thank you, me boo).
